FRONT - END DEVELOPER

Our client is a rapidly growing creator of games in the iGaming space. They are in the midst of a major expansion and are seeking skilled, fun, and dynamic technologists to join their team. This position will be integral to our initial building process and, on an ongoing basis, be responsible for developing and implementing data driven HTML5 games and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating innovative web and mobile products for live casinos
  • Being a part of the full product cycle, from conception to completion, in building the next-generation platform
  • Sharing your expertise to mentor and provide guidance/leadership to the team

  • Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional programming experience in JavaScript with 1+ years in mobile web development
  • experience in TypeScript or a good grasp of OO concepts and hands on experience coding in an OO language such as AS3/C#/Java/C++
  • experience in working across a range of technology stacks and using a deep understanding of usability and design to build engaging web and game apps with HTML5 and CSS3
  • strong JavaScript skills, and able to leverage the power of various frameworks such as jQuery, TweenMax, CreateJS, and THREE.js
  • experience and a strong knowledge of web standards and technologies, e.g. REST, JSON, video streaming (JW Player), and HTML WebKit etc. (Cordova would be a plus!)
  • strong analytical and debugging skills with experience in Agile development
  • passionate about web development and the latest developments in your field
  • solid communication skills, strong work ethic and the willingness/ability to collaborate with a diverse team
  • self-motivated and inspired to work independently, while also being able to work in accordance with a plan in order to get the job done
  • highly organized, and at the same time flexible
  • willing and able to travel internationally on occasion

    This is a full-time position with 100% on-site work required. Applicants must be eligible to work (Citizen, PR, or work permit) in Canada.
