Our client in Vancouver is the web hosting department of an organization with a strong presence in Europe. They design large, complex customized software for treasury departments and have expansion plans over the next year. They are looking for a Network Engineer to join their web hosting department of 5. The successful candidate will have 3-5+ years experience and solid skills with the following:
· SQL Server 2008
· IIS
· VPN
· VMWare
· WAN
· Cisco (will train in SonicWall)
· Documentation (moving towards certification ISO 27001)
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Must be willing to carry cell phone for after hour calls (minimal)
· Criminal record check is mandatory
This department is the network of the data centres globally so this role is the supporting of those clients. Salary is commensurate with experience and benefits start after the 3 month probation period.
