Our client, a quickly growing financial service application provider, is looking to hire a technically savvy, meticulous, and disciplined geek to join them as they continue their growth in the North American market.

They offer a fun environment with plenty of learning opportunities, all the cappuccino you can drink, and a conference room ping pong table (coming soon. . .) where you can compete with your coworkers for the title of table tennis champion. Located conveniently off of Waterfront skytrain station in beautiful Downtown Vancouver.

Looking for a candidate with a good, solid understanding of customer technical support, exemplary communication skills both oral and written, and great organizational skills. Candidate should have some experience in a technical support position, either helpdesk or call center. Experience with Active Directory and Exchange 2010 is a bonus.

Some of the responsibilities of the successful candidates will be:

- Providing first level application technical support
- Perform new customer installations on Windows Server 2008 boxes, running SQL Server 2008
- Setting up and configuring new accounts for clients
- Creating documentation that can be used in our knowledge base
- Checking logs and creating monitoring alerts
- Maintaining an inventory and asset registry
- Testing Windows Updates before having them pushed to production systems

Due to the nature of our business, a mandatory criminal record check must be performed prior to employment.
