JAVA DEVELOPER

Contract • 6 Months +

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Java Developer to work within our clients tax team, developing an automation application for all their year-end Regulatory reporting which to date has been done manually. The project will involve developing and implementing application regression suite and candidate will need to configure environment, develop simulators, mock objects and other test utilities. The role will sit within the testing team but we are not looking for testers. The developers will also be using (and trained on) 2 in-house testing (written in Perl) and integration/automation tools
 
The ideal candidate should have:

• Integration or unit testing experience, do not necessarily have to come from testing space.

• Strong at debugging, troubleshooting and ability to understand/learn systems quickly. As this will be all new development with new architecture.
• 5-10 years’ experience but would consider a star candidate with 3 years.
